HTX SubliMATE™

The HTX SubliMATE™ is a robust and easy to use MALDI matrix deposition system for controlled, reproducible, sublimation of the smallest available matrix crystals for sub-micron resolution mass spectrometry imaging.

controlled heating

The HTX SubliMATE™ uses a ceramic heater for consistent and quick heating up to 300 C. These allows for a range of MALDI matrices to be sublimated (ex: 9AA, CHCA, DAN, DHAP, DHB, NRM, etc)

multiple cooling options

A universal cooling top allows for cooling with standard or dry ice down to -78 C to produce ultra-small matrix crystals <1 micron in size.

High-throughput Homogeneous matrix deposition

The patented Matrix Wafer design allows for homogeneous matrix layer coating across a large area (up to 4 slides).

Customize your ideal configuration

To allow each lab to best meet their budget and automation needs, HTX offers three levels of controls for the patented HTX SubliMATE system. Ranging from simple push-button temperature control to fully-automated operation, these options ensure even, fast, and reproducible matrix deposition for up to four microscope slides at a time.

Single Temperature Controller

Provides ultra-fast heating of the SubliMATE chamber on an easy-to-use display. Heater set-point and actual temperature are shown in real time. This option offers the lowest cost system, and is well suited for operation with an ice bath coolant.

Dual Temperature Controller

In addition to heater controls included with the Single Temperature Controller, this option provides monitoring of the temperature of the cooling block. The Dual Temperature Controller is especially recommended for operation with dry-ice cooling to ensure that super-cooling is well monitored, and that samples are properly reheated before retrieval from the chamber.

SmartController

Provides the highest level of automation. The user-friendly touch-screen controller lets the user create and save methods and monitor all important parameters such as temperature (both heating and cooling) and pressure with live readouts. The SmartController also allows the user to save the complete cycle data after each experiment. Preset methods are included, and methods can be fully customized for optimal matrix coating on your samples. A method wizard is included to remind the user of the proper sequences to follow and ensure 100% error free operation.
