HTX Technologies will be sponsoring the AIMS Lab Course again this year. Please join us for a full week of great speakers, hands-on lab practice and valuable information on implementing a robust imaging mass spectrometry workflow. Included in the program will be several occasions to see and demo HTX equipment and discuss the latest features available on the HTX TM-Sprayer for trypsin and MALDI matrix sample preparation.
The 6th Annual ADVANCED IMAGING MASS SPECTROMETRY (AIMS.2017) Laboratory Course will be held Tuesday, April 11 - Friday, April 14, 2017 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. The AIMS.2017 Laboratory Course is a unique educational opportunity designed to teach the procedures of MALDI Imaging Mass Spectrometry. The format includes both lectures and hands-on workshops with 3 hours dedicated to on-site demos from instrument vendors. The course will cover the details of sample preparation, matrix application, instrumentation, and image and data processing. In addition, a number of technology highlights will be presented, including high-speed imaging, high-sensitivity imaging, and image fusion.
The course is designed for mid-level to senior investigators who are familiar with MALDI and have a working knowledge of mass spectrometry or histology. This course has a significant number of hands-on workshops scheduled; as a result, we do not have the capacity to introduce the technology to those without the prerequisite experience and training. For attendees that are new to one of these areas, we will provide optional introductory lectures on mass spectrometry and histology on Monday, April 10th, from 4-6 PM.

Following the success of OURCON III in Pisa, Italy, the COST organizing commitee has proposed to hold OURCON IV is Ustron, Poland. The conference is scheduled from October the 17th to the 21st, 2016.
The conference subjects will include MSI methodology, 3D-MSI, MSI bioinformatics, multimodal imaging, clinical MSI, pharmacological MSI and new applications. The program also includes dedicated time for late breaking news and young researcher contributions through a “Young Guns” session. The OurCon series has quickly established itself as one of the major annual events in the field of mass spectrometry imaging. Previous conferences were organized in Ourense (2012), Antalya (2014) and Pisa (2015). OurCon IV will also be the inaugural meeting of the newly founded Mass Spectrometry Imaging Society, a non-for profit society dedicated to the promotion of mass spectrometry imaging and its widespread application.
More information will be available soon on the OURCON website.
Visit HTX Technologies at booth # 829 during the Annual Conference of The American Society of Mass Spectrometry.
HTX will present the HTX TM-Sprayer for rapid MALDI Matrix Spraying and Trypsin Digestion Spraying. The automated MALDI sprayer offers unique temperature control of the nebulising gas and the matrix solution for improved analytes extraction and minimal delocalisation of analytes.
Visit ERC GmbH and demo the HTX TM-Sprayer during Analytica 2016 - Booth No. 305, Hall A2
Every two years analytica is the international meeting place for specialists from the areas of environmental, foodstuffs and industrial analysis, biochemistry, biotechnology, genetic engineering, molecular and cell biology. As the largest and most important European trade fair with congress of its kind, analytica regularly brings together scientists, industry and users.
Following the success of previous editions, the AIMS course will be offered again from April 5th to 8th, 2016. Early registration ends on March 2105 so make sure to register soon. Registration information is available from Vanderbilt University - School of Medicine
Demo the HTX TM-Sprayer during AIMS 2016 and learn the advantages of using a MALDI Matrix Sprayer in your IMS workflow.
